The Elyrica Harp Ensemble Program includes a great group of adult harpists who really enjoy the opportunity to work on their harp playing and specially chosen harp music intensively for the week. Through the Elyrica session they will work with our great faculty as a group, and sometimes combining with the younger players. The adults who attend Elyrica have a range of experience and play on lever and pedal harps. Music is arranged for each participant, so it will be at the proper level, and work for the type of harp you play, and it is sent to you ahead.

Here are two letters we received from adults who have participated. I hope their words can give you a good sense of what the week is like and how much all the adult participants enjoyed it.

“Last summer I had the wonderful opportunity to participate in the Elyrica Summer program. I was an adult student of the harp only 3 years and I am happy to report that I had a very successful and enjoyable week. Wendy organized it such a way that we adults were included in almost every portion of the final program. We performed with the younger students as well as by ourselves. What I enjoyed most was the time meeting other adult harp students and also the beautiful and appropriate harp repertoire that Wendy chose for us to learn and perform. She had to arrange certain pieces for several of us in order to simplify the technique. This allowed each of us to feel challenged but also successful. It was truly a very valuable, fun experience and I hope to attend another week in the future.”
